The Second Black Sea Security Forum 2025 which will take place in Odesa, Ukraine, from May 30 to June 1, 2025.
Last year’s inaugural Forum brought together over 350 politicians, experts, and business leaders in Odesa, the largest city on the Black Sea coast. The Forum aims to provide a platform for dialogue among officials, politicians, businesses, and experts to address the key security, economic, and political challenges facing the Black Sea, especially in light of Russia’s unprovoked aggression against Ukraine. The Forum is proudly supported by Odesa City Council, Lord Ashcroft KCMG PC, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Hepatica and other prominent organizations from both sides of the Atlantic.
This year’s Forum will place a strong emphasis on clarifying the strategic interests of Ukraine, Russia, the U.S., Türkiye, and the EU regarding this vital region alongside its use in the near future in the main program's panels.
The side events will cater to diverse interests, offering both firsthand security insights and a cultural experience of Odesa. For those seeking a deeper understanding of the realities on the ground, visits to the frontline and a key sea port will provide a unique perspective on Ukraine’s defense and economic resilience. Meanwhile, participants wishing to explore Odesa’s rich heritage can enjoy a cultural program, including a visit to the renowned Odesa Opera House or an excursion to the Shabo winery.
