Whether you’ve been driving in the US for year or you are brand new to Texas, this session can help make you a smarter, safer driver. You’ll learn about some of the rules of the road; get ‘best practice’ tips on staying safe on Houston’s busy highways and some useful hints on what to do if it does all go wrong. You’ll have a chance to ask questions about insurance, accidents and generally staying safe when you or your spouse is behind the wheel. Best of all, after a box lunch provided by Schlumberger, you will have a chance to put it all into practice on an accompanied drive with your instructor! Parking can sometimes be hard at the Forum. If you cannot find a spot in the Forum parking lot, please try the lots closer to the secondary entrance to the campus area. There is usually good parking close to the SECU branch. Please allow yourself enough time to find a parking space!  Please read our HSE Booking policy here before you book! Refreshments are provided by Schlumberger at most HSE sessions. Please advise at the time of booking if you have special dietary requirements. If you book a spot at an HSE session, please, please do attend unless there is an emergency which prevents you. It reflects very badly on SSA Houston when our members fail to turn up, without any explanation, for Schlumberger’s events. Please remember that almost ALL of our SSA Houston activities are funded or subsidized by Schlumberger. Without their support, we could not provide our membership with our event program.
