In this interactive workshop, participants will be organized into teams and we will go through the process of implementing a design sprint to quickly develop and get feedback on a core hypotheses and then use principles of Scrum to simulate the communication, planning and building of a product that is market ready. Or participants can come prepared with their own product ideas they’d like to use for the workshop or we can provide one.
Who is this for & what will you learn:
Anyone who wants to learn the principles of Design Thinking and Scrum in a hands on way. Specifically we will go through the steps of a design sprint (identifying a problem, breaking down a user experience, prototyping solutions and customer interviews) and then we will use Scrum to learn how to actually build it in a collaborative and iterative way (creating a product backlog, writing user stories, daily stand ups, tracking progress, goal setting, retrospective meetings).
These methods are extremely useful whether you are a product manager, marketer, engineer or even work in a non-technical field. We can always become better at what we do and how we work in teams. Having an understanding of these ideas is a great starting point for continuous improvement.
