Coming to the Valley with the big suitcase of plans and calendar full of meetings, meetups, and events. Meeting new people every day and getting to know the vibe of the Valley deeper. That’s a perfect picture any startup founder would dream about and definitely want to be part of.
But what if one day you realize you are not even allowed to leave your apartment? Everything you’ve planned and hoped for is not reachable. The whole world is in lockdown and one of your main tasks now is to learn to adapt to the new reality.
Sofi Shvets — CEO & co-founder of successful Ukrainian startup Let’s Enhance — is one of those experiencing it herself. She moved to San Francisco at the beginning of February and was building her was into the Valley startup community when the world shut down.
✔️ What were Sofiia’s first thoughts when she realized the situation?
✔️ What challenges she has to deal with while being alone in another country in these turbulent times?
✔️ Has the crisis influenced her company and the team?
✔️ How did the team manage to release a second, renewed version of their product and to become Product of the Day on Product Hunt while the whole world works from home?
✔️ How’s life in the Valley now?
✔️ What are Let’s Enhance’s further plans?
Join us for a conversation on Wednesday, May 27th, at 19:00 (GMT+3) about Sofiia’s such an unusual experience and bring along your questions. Life in the Valley is always an interesting topic to discuss but in this given circumstances it is even more captivating.
